Jessica Vermeulen

Jessica attended high school in Slidell, LA, and then she and her family moved to Wisconsin after her senior year. She had shoulder surgery before coming to Oberlin, but still managed some strong times in the freestyle events. She posted times of 5:36+ in the 500, 2:04.62 in the 200 and was a member of the record setting 400 and 800 freestyle relay teams. Last year she had surgery on the other shoulder, and is looking forward to a year with no knives!
