Celeste Mercer

The best female swimmer ever at Oberlin! Last season, she became Oberlin's first ever female All-American. She won the award by placing 6th in last year’s NCAA Championships in the 100 yard backstroke. She also placed in the 50 yard freestyle. She own s every freestyle record from the 50 through the 200, both bacxkstroke records, and was a member of all five relay records. She is the winner of a John Heismann merit scholarship, and was valedictorian of her high school class of 245 students.
