Oberlin's Graduate Teacher Education Program seeks to take those willing to take risks, who understand the place of community in learning, and who are eager to learn with others, and help them become something the world always needs - a top teacher.

This is someone capable of nurturing wonder, mystery and imagination. These are educators who discover and cultivate the potential of every child. And these are leaders who respect the complexities intrinsic to richly diverse communities as they work for positive societal and environmental change.

It may sound like a tall order for a 12-month program. We're confident it will happen for each of you, thanks in no small part to the structure of our curriculum, the strength and experience of our faculty, and the immeasurable support provided by our working mentor teachers.
