GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI)
The GREENGUARD Environmental
Institute (GEI) is an industry-independent, non-profit organization
that oversees the GREENGUARD Certification Program. As an ANSI
Authorized Standards Developer, GEI establishes acceptable indoor air
standards for indoor products, environments, and buildings.
The New Agrarian Center is
committed to building a stronger and more sustainable regional food
system in Northeast Ohio- a food system that promotes health in the
broadest sense of the word: healthy land, healthy communities, healthy
individuals, and a healthy economy.
Sustainable Community Associates (SCA)
SCA is a development group founded in 2001 by three recent Oberlin College graduates: Naomi Sabel, Josh Rosen, and Ben Ezinga. SCA promotes environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable development. SCA's first endeavor is the East College Street Project, a community development venture that redevelops an abandoned brownfield in downtown Oberlin into a sustainably designed, mixed-use building containing 46 apartments for sale and 12,000 square feet of commercial space.
