(Or, if you're using Internet Explorer, get with the program. It's just not a good browser. Try using Firefox, Safari, Opera, or Google Chrome. I don't plan to pander to Internet Explorer's whims.)
If you do have javascript enabled and are not using Internet Explorer, email me, Stephen Burrows, at my Oberlin email address. You can find it with Oberlin's directory search.
To protect the owners of email addresses on this website from receiving unsolicitated email, all mailto links are encoded.
Although spammers can rent or buy existing e-mail lists, many opt to use software known as 'e-mail harvesters' (often referred to as 'spam bots') that extract e-mail addresses from web pages. These e-mail harvesters work very much the same way search engine spiders do and try to collect every e-mail adress they encounter on the web. However, like search engines, they do not run javascript on web pages. Because Oberlin doesn't allow the use of PHP for security reasons, we are unable to implement a more elegant solution.
