What is genre-fiction?

Genre-fiction is an umbrella term that includes science-fiction, fantasy, romance, erotica, mystery, and horror—anything that goes beyond the traditional bounds of literature.

How often does Spiral publish?

We publish quarterly: Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer. Submit as much or as little as you like, in as many forms as you like.


Submit to Spiral

We accept prose, poetry, plays, essays, photography, drawings, and anything else that can be printed on paper.

We accept literature of any length! If it is too long to fit in one issue, we will work with you to publish across several issues. We also accept serial tales and collections.
