March 6, 11:00 a.m.
A staff member reported the theft of her credit card from a room in Asia House and three unauthorized charges had been made on it. Oberlin Police Department was notified and the incident is under investigation.

March 6, 11:45 p.m.
Officers were requested to assist with a student who passed out in Dascomb Dining Hall. The student refused transportation and was advised to call the Security Office if further assistance was needed.

March 7, 1:20 p.m.
Officers were requested to assist with an injured student at Harkness. The student was washing dishes and a bowl fell cutting her nose. The student was transported for medical treatment.

March 7, 2:08 p.m.
A staff member reported silverware missing. The silverware was rented for an event and delivered to Peters Hall. Approximately 100 forks were missing and they were valued at $249.

March 8, 1:20 a.m.
Oberlin Police requested officers assist with an intoxicated student at the corner of College and Main Sts. The student was okay and transported to her dorm room in Fairchild.

March 8, 2:43 p.m.
A staff member reported skateboarders on the west side of the Conservatory. Two juveniles were located and advised of college policies on skateboarding. They were identified and parents were contacted.

March 8, 3:38 p.m.
A student reported the theft of her Sony Discman from the fourth floor of Mudd Library. The discman is gold in color and valued at $60.

March 8, 9:30 p.m.
An officer on patrol of the Conservatory located vandalism in several areas. Red spray painted sayings were located on the lounge sidewalk and Bibbins front steps. A work order was filed for clean up.

March 9, 12:18 p.m.
Officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm on the second floor of Asia House. The alarm was activated by smoke from preparing eggs. The system was reset.

March 9, 2:28 p.m.
A student reported her coat stolen from the hallway in the basement of Hales Gym. The coat is light brown suede, knee length, and valued at $400. In the coat pocket, were two credit cards, identification and keys. A search of the area was made with negative results.

March 10, 7:15 a.m.
A staff member reported damage to an emergency sign at Langston Hall, third floor, Wager wing. The sign was torn from the mounting bracket. A work order was filed for repair.

March 10, 10:20 a.m.
Officers responded to a minor motor vehicle accident, involving a college truck and a van, at the intersection of College and South Professor streets. No damage could be located on the college truck. The van sustained a cracked rear bumper.

March 10, 2:08 p.m.
A student reported receiving a disturbing message on her answering machine. The message was not threatening in nature. The student was given information on harassing phone calls. The incident is under investigation.

March 11, 9:58 a.m.
Officers were requested to assist with an ill student at South Hall. The student was transported to Allen Medical Center for treatment.

March 12, 9:15 a.m.
A staff member at the Science Center reported four silver coat rack knobs missing from the men’s restroom coat rack. Value of the knobs is unknown. A work order was filed for replacement.

March 12, 12:57 p.m.
An officer on routine patrol observed graffiti on the wall located outside the northwest side of Fairchild. The graffiti was spray painted in blue. A work order was filed.

March 12, 1:15 p.m.
Two students came to the Safety and Security Office to report they both received a disturbing phone call. The calls were made by the same male and were non-threatening in nature. Oberlin Police Department was notified and the incident is under investigation.
