Vote Pred for Senate

To the Editors:

You might know me as that random kid with the column on Oberlin Online, as a writer for the Review, as a varsity athlete, as a frisbee player, or as someone in one of your classes. I was surprised and honored when I learned that I had been nominated for Student Senate, and I hope that you will vote to give me the privilege of representing you as a member of that body.
As a senator, I would work hard to protect the rights of students, and would actively solicit opinions from the student body. Of course I would work to make sure to express your feelings (be they good or ill) to the administration, but at the same time I would act as a trustee and make a serious effort to let my conscience be my guide. A vote for me would be a
vote for a serious, diligent, optimistic, and responsible candidate.
