Review Should Have Covered Honor Policy

To the Editors:

It’s a bit difficult to know what to make of the fact that the latest Review had no mention (that I could find) of the passage of a revised charter for the Honor System at the last General Faculty meeting. The Honor System affects all students and is an important feature of an Oberlin education — far more important to the average student than issues concerning room searches, which you covered in detail.

On the off-chance that you will devote more space in the next issue, I am attaching the text of the revised description of the system recently approved by the Student Honor Committee, the Faculty Honor Committee, the Student Senate, and just passed by the General Faculty. I hope the Review will highlight this crucial institution for Oberlin College.
