Thursday, Nov. 1: At 5:12 a.m. a security officer on patrol at Hales Gym observed a white powder on the floor in the women's locker room. The powder was determined to be from a discharged fire extinguisher. The extinguisher was located and clean up was completed.


Thursday, Nov. 1: At 10:18 p.m. a security officer on patrol observed a male subject, on the Oberlin College Trespass list, standing at the entrance to Kettering. Oberlin Police Department responded. The subject was taken into custody and charged with trespassing.

Thursday, Nov. 1: At 10:45 p.m. a Safety and Security Officer responded to Wilder Hall to assist with an ill student The student was transported to Oberlin Medical Center for treatment of alcohol consumption.

Thursday, Nov. 1: At 11:07 p.m. a Safety and Security Officer transported a student, ill from alcohol consumption, to Oberlin Medical Center for treatment.

Friday, Nov. 2: At 2:26 a.m. A staff member reported the theft of pastries from the refrigerator on the second floor of Langston. The pastries were to be a contribution for a fund raiser.


Friday, Nov. 2: At 11:26 a.m. Staff from Mudd Library reported the theft of an Apple Pro keyboard and mouse from the Biggs Computer Lab. Value of the missing items is unknown at this time.


Friday Nov. 2: At 12 p.m. a student reported the theft of her coat, college ID and keys from the Disco. The coat was placed on a coat table upon arrival.


Saturday, Nov. 3: At 12:05 a.m. Residents of East Hall reported the theft of items from their room. Taken was a bracelet and ring, along with approximately $200 in cash. Incident under investigation.


Saturday, Nov. 3: At 2 p.m. a student reported the theft of her bicycle from the bike rack at Kettering. The bicycle is a Ross mountain bike, black in color, and was locked at the time of theft.

Sunday, Nov. 4: At 2:02 p.m. an off -campus student reported the theft of her Franklin Touring Bicycle, green in color, valued at $1,800, missing from her basement. The theft was also reported to the Oberlin Police Department for investigation.


Sunday, Nov. 4: At 1:20 p.m. staff reported odor of marijuana at Zechiel. The matter will be handled by Residential Services.


Wednesday, Nov. 7: At 7:45 p.m. a resident of East Hall reported receiving a threatening phone call from an unidentified male. The incident is under investigation.


Wednesday, Nov. 7: At 9 a.m. a staff member reported cutting his finger and was en route to the emergency room. It was learned that while working in the scene shop, he dropped a trim saw, injuring his left index finger.
