The following is a compilation of weekly reports from the Office of Safety and Security.

Nov. 9, 1:30 a.m. An officer transported an ill visitor from Langston Hall to Allen Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Nov. 9, 4:44 p.m. An officer responded to a report from a student of the theft of a small leather belt with silver studs from the cross-country locker room at Philips gym.

Nov. 9, 7:25 p.m. An officer responded to a report from a resident of Price Hall of the theft of a tuxedo jacket, cuff links and bow tie. The incident is under investigation by the Safety and Security Office.

Nov. 10, 8:55 a.m. An officer responded to a report from a custodian of vandalism in the thir-floor women's restroom at Robertson. Paper was strewn about the floor, stuffed in the sink and toilets and soapwas rubbed on the mirrors.

Nov. 10, 11:29 a.m. An officer responded to a report from a staff member at Wilder of the theft of two cases of beer, valued at $19.95 each, from the basement near the disco.

Nov. 10, 5:00 p.m. An officer responded to a report from a student of the theft of her 26" Carrera mountain bike, teal in color, valued at $225, from the bicycle rack on the north side of South Hall. The bicycle was locked at the time of theft.

Nov. 11, 5:35 p.m. An officer and the Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm in Asia House. The alarm was caused by smoke from cooking in the kitchen.

Nov. 12, 3:15 p.m. An officer on patrol of the Conservatory observed two large potted plants near the outer doors of Bibbins which were knocked over and broken. Value of the damage is unknown.

Nov. 12, 4:56 p.m. An officer responded to a report from a student at Harkness of the discharge of a fire extinguisher in the drive behind the building. A replacement extinguisher was ordered.

Nov. 12, 6:39 p.m. An officer and the Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm in Langston Hall. The alarm was caused by burning incense.

Nov. 12, 6:40 p.m. An officer on patrol near Langston Hall located a vehicle parked on the northeast sidewalk. The owner was located and told to move the vehicle.

Nov. 13, 3:15 p.m. An officer responded to a report from a staff member of vandalism to audiovisual equipment in Bibbins. Liquid was forced into a cassette player/recorder causing damage to the unit. The unit was valued at $240.

Nov. 13, 4:32 p.m. An officer responded to a report from a student of the theft of his black and silver, Pacific USA bicycle from the front of Wilder Hall. The bicycle was found locked to the rack in front of King Building. It was transported to the security Office for safekeeping pending proof of ownership.

Nov. 13, 8:30 p.m. An officer transported a staff member to Urgent Care for treatment after receiving injuries to her arms and shoulder from a fall.

Nov. 14, 8:18 a.m. An officer responded to a report from a staff member of thirty ornamental kale plants uprooted from the southeast corner of Tappan Square.

Nov. 14, 1:20 p.m. An officer responded to a report from a resident of Langston Hall of incense on the first floor. The odor dissipated prior to the officer's arrival.

Nov. 14, 3:18 p.m. An officer responded to a report from a staff member of the theft of a Panasonic DV camera and software from the Allen Art Building. The incident is under investigation by the Safety and Security Office.

Nov. 14, 4:25 p.m. An officer responded to a report from a student of the theft of his bicycle, a blue Timberline, men's 26" valued at $300, from the south side of Wilder Hall.

Nov. 15, 9:30 a.m. An officer assisted a staff member after she fell down the main steps in Wilder Hall. No medical treatment was requested at the time.

Nov. 15, 7:50 p.m. An officer and the Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm in Kade. The alarm was caused by smoke from burning food.
