What Do You Think of the Student Health Center and the Services it Offers?

Andrew Simmons, College sophomore:

They just tell you you have gonorrhea when you have mono.

Molly McDonald, College sophomore:

I just think it's silly that you can't get sick after five o'clock, and you can't get sick on the weekends at all.

Eric Perez, College senior:

It's fun. The nurses are nice.

Gloria Adams, College sophomore:

I think that the Student Health center is okay. I've been there for track physicals and the people there are nice.

Cory Mescon, College first-year:

I think they just have preanswered questions that they just give you when you go in there. They don't just diagnose you.

Joel Bernache, College sophomore:

I hear people go there with the flu and get diagnosed with STDs and stuff. No joke. I've never been and I don't think I'll ever go.

Becky Kanuch, College sophomore:

I don't use the Student Health Center because my doctor is right next door. But if I had to use it, it'd be great.

Dawn Sweeney, College sophomore:

I think that the Student Health Center is wonderful. They give you free stuff.

Sarah Colvario, College first-year:
I think it's weird that they don't have a doctor.

Luke Crabtree, College sophomore:
A) It should be closer. B) A doctor every once in a while would be nice. C) There're always really mean to me when I call. I can't cuss. Screw them

Benjamin Holt, College junior:

My experience has been that they're rather unqualified. I had a friend who was completely misdiagnosed. They told him he was constipated when in fact it was something quite serious that required surgery. It's a nurse practitioner. What they really need there is a full fledged doctor and maybe a larger staff because the lines can be long. I've had to wait up to a week for an appointment and that's just not cool.

Devon Gualtieri, College sophomore:

Student Health is good if you're pregnant or have a STD. They have resources for that but if you have a cold or bronchitis it takes them two weeks to get back to you.
