The following is a compilation of weekly reports from the Office of Safety and Security.

Apr. 13, 10:00 a.m. An officer received a report of a visitor transported to Allen Memorial Hospital by ambulance for treatment of an injury after falling on the sidewalk near the Conservatory.

Apr. 14, 3:10 p.m. An officer responded to a report from a vending company of a company vehicle broken into while parked in Bailey Drive. The driver was away from the vehicle between 2 and 3 p.m. The incident is being investigated by Safety and Security and the Oberlin Police Department.

Apr. 14, 9:22 p.m. An officer responded to a report from a staff person of suspicious individuals searching through college vans in the Service Building parking lot. When approached by the staff person, the male fled the area on a bicycle. There was no damage to the vehicle and nothing appeared to be missing.

Apr. 14, 10:30 p.m. An officer responded to a report from a resident of East Hall of two obscene messages on her dry erase board.

Apr. 16, 1:28 a.m. An officer responded to a report from a student of the theft of her black, tan and red Schwinn mountain bike from the front of Barrows. The bicycle was not locked at the time of theft and was not registered with the city.

Apr. 16, 3:50 a.m. An officer received a report of the transport of an off campus student to Allen Memorial Hospital by ambulance for treatment of alcohol intoxication.

Apr. 17, 12:48 a.m. An officer transported a student to Allen Memorial Hospital emergency room for treatment of a lacerated finger.

Apr. 17, 1:13 a.m. An officer and the Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm in Barrows. The alarm was caused by a malfunctioning smoke detector.

Apr. 17, 3:45 p.m. An officer responded to a report from a staff member of the theft of a Sony stereo amplifier, tuner main unit, valued at $289, from the Audio Visual Department in Mudd library.

Apr. 17, 5:39 p.m. An officer responded to a report of the theft of a Micheal Anthony, ladies, 14kt gold watch valued at $1036 from the west gym in Philips. The incident is under investigation by Safety and Security and the Oberlin Police Department.
