The following is a compilation of weekly reports from the Office of Safety and Security.

Nov. 7, 4:34 p.m. A campus security officer responded to a report of an ill employee. The employee was transported to the hospital for treatment.

8:25 p.m. A campus security officer responded to a reported theft from a locker at Philips Gym. Contents of a backpack were scattered on the floor, but the only items missing were $7 cash and checks from a checkbook.

Nov. 8, 4:13 p.m. A campus security officer responded to a report of an injured student at Harkness House. The student refused medical treatment at this time. An RC was notified of the incident.

Nov. 9, 12:30 p.m. Campus security officers and the Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Kade House. Smoke from cooking activated the alarm.

1:33 p.m. A campus security officer responded to the report of a bike theft at Mudd. The bike was described as a men's, 12 speed, black and red in color.

9:45 p.m. A campus security officer responded to the report of an injured student at Hall Auditorium. The student had fallen and hit his head on the southeast steps. The student was transported to the hospital.

9:53 p.m. A campus security officer responded to the report of a person with what appeared to be a gun, at Mudd. It was learned that the unloaded pellet gun was being used as a prop in a filming.

Nov. 10, 1:07 a.m. A campus security officer responded to a report of persons throwing snowballs at a window in Langston Hall and tearing the screen. 5 to 6 kids were observed in the area, but had left prior to the officers' arrival.

Nov. 11, 12:45 a.m. A campus security officer, while on routine patrol of Keep Cottage, found a broken window in the porch area. A work order was filed for repairs.

3:30 a.m. A campus security officer responded to a report of loud music at North Hall. The music was turned off.

3:45 a.m. A campus security Officer, while on routine patrol, found the trash cans in North Hall turned over and trash spread throughout the corridors. A work order was filed with custodians for clean up.

4:45 p.m. A campus security officer and Oberlin Police Department responded to a report of a vehicle/bicycle accident on West College Street in front of Gray Gables Lot. The bicyclist was transported to the hospital for a minor injury.

7:15 p.m. A campus security officer responded to a report of smoke in the lounge from the fireplace. Oberlin Fire Department responded and set up a fan to clear out the smoke.

Nov. 12, 11:58 p.m. A campus security officer responded to a report of an injured person at Harvey House. The staff person had fallen hitting her head and was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Nov. 13, 5:05 a.m. Campus security officers and the Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm in the basement of Severance. The cause was found to be an overheated fuse box. An electrician was called for repairs.
