Oberlin's club water polo team finished its fall season over fall break with a tournament at the University of Ohio.
With a team including players new to the team, Oberlin went 1-3 over the tournament.
They beat only Akron University, 12-11. But Oberlin lost to Findlay, 17-9, Ohio Northern University 10-9 and a powerhouse Notre Dame University team 23-3.
Junior Wayne Miller led the way for Oberlin with 12 points in the tournament, but the team's success was relative for him.
"Considering we'd never played together, we played pretty well," Miller said.
The water polo season is over until spring. Most of Oberlin's polo players are now into swimming season.
