News Brief

Car crash on Lorain

Sometime after 1 a.m. Thursday, a driver in a Dodge Neon rear-ended a Chevrolet Astro van stopped at the intersection of Lorain Street and North Main. The driver of the Neon was taken to Allen Medical Center for treatment, while the driver in the Astro left with a co-worker at the scene.

The van spun into the intersection and turned more than 180 degrees before coming to rest on the curb bordering Tappan Square. Pieces of the front of the Neon were strewn across the intersection.

A police report with names of the drivers and their condition will be released in the coming days.

It is unknown if either of the drivers had connections to the College.
