Garbage collection disruptive
To the Editors: The garbage collection is ruining our lives. Oftentimes as early as eight o’clock in the morning we are woken up by the trash men. It is so loud that no living creature could possibly sleep through it. The truck beeps for approximately forty five minutes while it backs up three feet to the dumpster, and then it picks it up, shakes it, and drops it on the ground. Never have we heard anything so obnoxiously noisy. All we wish to do it finish getting a good night’s sleep, and it is impossible. This is also true because our room is five thousand degrees, forcing us to open the windows and let in the full brunt of the garbage commotion. We can’t go on like this. —Todd Foley |
