OSCA Sexual Offense Policy Advocates

SOPAs are here to support you, advocate for you, and believe you. Our services include helping students navigate the sexual offense policy process, being a resource about sexualized violence, accompanying students during any or all parts of the sexual offense process, listening, counseling, supporting and advocating. Please feel free to reach out to any of us at any time, nothing is too big or too small. We are on call 24/7 and at least one of us will be on campus during fall break, spring break and winter term. Their contact information can be found on posters in every co-op.

The Edomnia Lewis Center for Women and Transgender People is a collective of students, faculty, staff and administrators doing the work of transforming existing systems of oppression based on sex, gender, race, class, sexuality, age, ability, size, religion, and nationality. We create and maintain safe space, initiate and fund programming, and serve as a resource for the Oberlin College community. We strive to maintain a space committed to anti-heterosexism and anti racism, that will allow us to support and advocate for those historically disenfranchised on the basis of gender: women and transgender people.

The purpose of the center is to serve as a resource for people who have been historically disenfranchised from higher education. The MRC works to support people of color, and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people as well as address the concerns of low-income, international and first-generation college students. They also have an awesome lending library!

The Office of Religious and Spiritual Life is a center for religious counseling, for supporting religious activities, and spiritual life, and for a wide range of educational, social, service and political action projects. Staff are available to join others in expressing and examining religious and moral perspectives on such issues as spirituality, race, sex, relationships, work, vocations, the economy, environment, government, education, and peace.
