Co-Captain Jeremy Steinhauer - Steinha 2m, field, point
Senior. 6'0". 170 lbs. Albion, MI. CS.
Jeremy has proved invaluable in the construction of this years 5th place finish at Midwest Conference Tournament, up from 11th our previous year. His versatility, speed and shooting skills are exceeded by few, and his true abilites come to light on defense, where he had more blocked shots than any other player in fall 1998.
Co-Captain Scott Remley - Scooter field
Senior. 6'2". 190 lbs. Avon, CT. Politics.
Remely's on-the-fly turns and rocket shots make him a strong long-ball option. His defensive skills (2nd on the team in pick-offs in 1998) lead him to be another skilled member.
Alan Cox - 2m, field
Junior. 6"0". 160 lbs.
Alan Cox is not to be trifled with. A combination of accuracy in shooting and passing as well as a deadly ability to fake goalkeepers, Alan returns to us after taking fall semester in Ireland. The Twin Towers of Cox and Wyman make Oberlin's a serious threat.
Becky Ducore - Duker field
First Year. 5'8". Silver Springs, MD. Biology.
Up and comer Ducore holds substantial promise. Strong speed and quickly-developing defensive abilities will only grow further.
Chris Dudley - C. Duds field
Sophomore. 5'10". 160 lbs. Lenoir, NC. Physics & History.
Possibly Oberlin's secret weapon. Dudley is not only dazzlingly fast, but a searing outside shot, super-accurate passing, exceptional defensive skills and an amazing sense for the game make C. Duds almost too good to be true. You can't stop him, you can only hope to contain him.
Joe Greaves - field
First Year. 6"0". 180 lbs. Vocal Performance.
Another strong sprinter, Greaves has the hardest shot on the team, and like Dudley, an excellent sense of the game. Look for him to light it up this spring.
Nate Insel - field
Junior. 5"10". 135 lbs. Tuscon, AZ. Neuroscience
Nate has already showed bounding improvement in polo. A solid heads-up game combined with strong speed, Insel will prove to be one of Oberlin's keys to success this year.
Won Lee - 2m, field
Senior.
Lee is another strong up and comer, but has been hampered in the past year by successive finger and shoulder injuries. Lee has a good sense of the game and an accurate shot - we can't wait for him to back with us for his final season.
John Limouze - Johnboy field
Sophomore. 6'2". 205. Cincinnati, OH. Biology & History.
This two-time Division III All-American in the 200 fly needs no intorduction. Limouze has speed, agility a deadly-accurate shot, and combined with his innate ability to be in the right place at the right time, Johnboy brings a strong case for "the total package."
Alison Marshall - field

With four years of HS experience, Marshall comes to us as an old hand at water polo. Her skills both with and without the ball combined with a breathtaking ability to get around just about anyone make her another serious threat.
Celeste Mercer - field

Another National Qualifier joining the ranks of Oberlin Water Polo, Mercer comes with HS experience as well. Her incredible speed promises to make here a key to Oberlin's run-and-gun, fast break offense abilities, and her rapidly improving defensive skills will help her grow into a powerful member of the squad .

Neal Olitsky - field
First Year.
Olitsky's ability to execute the no-look pass is uncanny. Combined with strong passing skills and constantly improving defensive abilities, Neal holds definite promise.
Jason Prokowiew - field
First Year. Manchester, MA
Workhorse migh best describe Jason: he just refuses to quit. Picking up the game quickly, his speed and passing will make him a threat.
Rob Stephens - Superfly field
First Year. 6"2" Dala City, CA. Biochemistry.
In Oberlin's OT. victory over UAkron, Stephens made the pass which led to the goal that took us into overtime. Another cannon-armed shooter, Stephens has a good sense of ball movement, and a strong defensive mind. His ability to get clear of the water in rear-backs render his shots almost unstopabble.
Rahula Strohl - Jake Goalkeeper
First Year. 5'11". 165 lbs. Oak Park, IL. Math & Music.
One word: dazzling. Two words: brick wall. A few more words: Strohl was part of the Oak Park HS team which placed 6th in IL last year. A strong arm and an almost twisted lack of fear garnered Jake instant respect last fall in the Midwest Conference.
Dawn Sweeney - field
First Year. 5'4" Tacoma, WA
Fundamentals: strong passing, accurate shooting, good movement. Sweeney has them. A cannon for an arm, she has already come up big in games for Oberlin, and only promises to improve.
Mitch Wyman - GQ 2m
Sophomore. 5'10". 150 lbs. Cello Performance.
Wyman is, in a word, skilled. Shooting, passing, swimming, and an ability to control defenders twice his size in the hole. Wyman leads the team in goals, and reset the single-season scoring record for Oberlin in the first two tournaments of the season this fall. Wyman placed in All-Conference balloting, and has proved to be a serious nusiance to every Oberlin opponent. Watch him work the magic: he's prime time.
