Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

Considering becoming Catholic? The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) includes faith formation, faith sharing, prayer, and community to help you discern whether you would like to become Catholic. Contact debbie.dacone@oberlin.edu for details.

RCIA is for:

			Those who have never been baptized;
			Those who have been baptized in another faith and want to become Catholic;
			Those who have been baptized Catholic, but have not received all the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist).

Practicing Catholics on campus are encouraged to serve as sponsors for those is RCIA.
