BEST OF LUCK
By Anne Lowe, Spring 2005

Just wanted to wish you
the very best of luck
and to be here without you
will really rather suck.

So instead I send
the absolute best I can do
So here’s a little rhyme
and rythm just for you:

Here’s an ode
to beautiful frisbee girls
who’s tosses are so sweet
they’ll make you want to whirl

Right off your feet
and into the sky;
you’ll wish you were one
just so you could fly.

On offense or de-
It don’t matter much
If they’ve got that disk
they won’t let you touch.

Cutting and passing
they just look so smooth
and when they stack
your soul they’ll move.

The cup is intense
and the poppers are ready.
About the longs in the back
there ain’t nothing petty.

This is a wish
to you amazing players
that you’ll kick ass
and glory you’ll savor.

I’ve had the best of times
This season no doubt
just getting to know you
and checking frisbee out.

You invited me in
I’m so grateful for that
some of the best girls on campus
I’d say right out flat.

Thanks for teaching me
the game and the love
and i’ll keep on tossing
if push comes to shove.

You girls, each and every,
are beyond belief
and your opponents, there’s no doubt
you’ll surely beat.

So I wish you the best
much love and jumping,
sunshine and passes,
and no end of hearts thumping.
