Max Bernstein was born on a sunny day, an unusual event in the wilds of Napa Valley, California, and, plainly put, he was awesome. Known across the valley for his smiling face and smooth bass voice, Bernie was the envy of many a gentleman and the dream boy for many a yound girl. Indeed, Bernie was too awesome; he often felt out of place among normal people. After finding himself at Oberlin College, he felt something missing from his life despite his dedication to academics, swimming, and ladies. Something musical. Something magical. Something that would befit his natural awesomeness. That something was the Obertones. Christened "Hollywood" for no particular reason, Mr. Bernstein became the newest member of this incredible league of gentlemen.
