Memberships in the Good Food Coop cost:
Members whose average monthly purchases are $25 or more will save the cost of their membership. Senior citizens save the cost of membership when their monthly purchases are at least $12.50.
Fees can be paid in advance each month or for as many months as desired. Fees are applied only for consecutive months, and no refunds are issued for unused fees. If you will be away longer than a month (e.g., sabbatical or summer vacation), pay only until you leave and renew your membership after you return. No retroactive fees will be charged.
No work is required to be a member, however, two hour's work (one hour for senior citizens) in the Coop entitles a member to a free month's renewal. Work records are kept on a card in the store. Members are responsible for signing up to work, coming to work, and having the manager initial the work record.
