Officers

This is a list of the current officers of OPAN.  Unfortunately, you'll have to go to the Photos page to see actual pictures of them.

President: Elisabeth

Forged by the gods, Lissa was raised as a warrior on a beautiful island with no men.  She became Athena’s champion of truth and justice, protecting the innocent.  Although once reincarnated as a goddess, she forsook immortality to settle down at beautiful Oberlin College to continue her mission, major in history, and lead the Oberlin Pagan Awareness Network into a new golden age of peace and glory.

Fierce of temper but with a gentle soul, she can make an Origami nun, commands legions of My Little Ponies, and move large furniture by herself.  She loves music, animals, D&D, red lipstick, weapons, corsets, trashy TV shows, vigilantism, talking to her fish, and cuddling.  She hates mean bullies, jerks, pimps, Tom Cruise, oppressive regimes, roller coasters, and her neighbor.  Lissa can most often be spotted at PAN meetings and skulking around the 2nd and 3rd floors of Mudd until late at night when security kicks her out.  Someday, she’d like to take names and kick ass, but in a positive way.  If you see her, kiss her- she’s Irish and it’s always St. Patrick’s Day!

Vice President and Secretary: Bryn McDonald

Bryn is a second year who aspires to be a major in Creative Writing, but is, as yet, unaccepted. She also greatly enjoys Math, English, Astronomy, Psychology, and Linguistics. She tends to over commit herself. Currently this involves planning and organizing two new Oberlin organizations: Spiral, a literary and arts magazine focused on genre, the fantastical, and storytelling; and the Shire of Dragon's Wind, a foamed weapon fighting group which is greatly good for relieving stress.

Bryn is known to be insane. She can write elvish. She associates with the elements: Water, Sunlight, Wind. She's an obsessee over young adult fantasy fiction writing. She wants to edit and read lots of YA fantasy. She is interested in archaic weaponry and fighting: sword fighting, fencing, and archery. She is part dragon. Or possibly fire-lizard.

Treasurer: Michelle Torres

Michelle Torres is our beloved Treasurer, the only member of PAN who knows the dangerous rites that allow us to appease the money-demons.

Soon, she will have a more personal bio here.

Librarian: Timothy Sullivan

There will be a personalized bio here soon.

Technomancer: Jonas Wisser

Jonas Wisser is a junior Classical Civilizations major from the great (read: very large, but not especially good) state of Pennsylvania.  As such, he firmly believes that it's soda, not "pop" or "coke".  As a result of his time spent in computers, he also firmly believes that punctuation should go outside quotation marks.  Otherwise, you just break things.

Jonas also volunteers at the Bridge, Oberlin's Community Technology Center, works for Oberlin CIT, and serves on Langston Hall Council.  He has a love of all things sharp or fiery, as well as many things science fiction or fantasy-related.

In his incredibly tiny amounts of spare time, Jonas updates the website you're reading right now.  He could even be doing it THIS INSTANT.  Wouldn't that be weird?
