Official Update. Please excuse the lack of updates lately. I am the new webmaster and I live off campus, so it took a while to figure out how to update the website from here and then, how to update the website at all. A new game and a new player have been added.

Unofficial update! Naomi here, working on the Obercon section of the site (it's not great, but it's better than it was!). I also deleted some of the older news posts. 'Cause DAMN, they were old!

I updated the Officer's page! Finally. It could use a bit more formatting, but that is not what I want to be dealing with right now. Gah, I can't believe I said I'd teach HTML this summer... I have got a LOT to learn...

Ack! This post should have been put up about a week ago... Well, too late now. There's a Gameday this Saturday (07 October 2006), and everyone should come and hang out and play Smash Bros / Settlers of Catan / some weird twisty line game... can't remember what it's called. Anyway! It'll start around 1:30 PM, because that's morning in college-land. It will be in Wilder, as usual, in the same area as last time... and if it's not, then just ask the people at the desk where the gamers are. =P
I need to get this page up on the site before I can't honestly say that it's the 5th.

Apparently the first Ogre meeting is a week from this saturday, a.k.a. September 16th. Y'all should come! It'll be somewhere in Wilder... I'll keep you updated.

Hey! And you all thought I was dead, didn't you? Well, I'm not. Ha. =P
This Saturday is... Gameday!!! It will be in Wilder, from 1 to 6. You have to come, because you failed your will save.
OGRE is buying books! That's right, the college is giving us money to buy supplies for our club... which means gaming apparatus. Suggestions? Cool ideas? Email OGRE with 'em!
Did someone say Fight Night? That's right, I'm looking into re-instating D&D fight nights. For those of you who don't know, it's a D&D free-for-all with characters you've pregenerated. None of that hippy role-play stuff. ^_^ But anyway, first I need to know when would be a good time to have them, and who's interested. So... send me an email! As in, Naomi DOT Goodman AT Oberlin DOT edu.
In other news, I updated the games page, at the behest of our own, dear, responsible Michael Bricker.
If there are still things on that page that are not up to date, please tell me so that I can fix them. Thanks! ^_^

ANYWAYS... I'm putting up some tentative stuff for Obercon. Nothing definite, but at least there will be something there besides last year's schedule. Check it out.
Sorry, sorry... this is what happens when I update the website right after I wake up (read: 12:00).
So. Details. Gameday shall be happening this saturday, September 23, in Wilder. I am not absolutely certain of the time, but I would bet $10 that it starts at 1:30. I am also not absolutely certain of the room, but I am 90% sure that we will be in the same rooms as we always are, which are down the left hall on the first floor if you come into Wilder from the front entrance. (I don't remember the numbers...) If you don't trust my not-so-sterling memory, ask about it at the Wilder front desk.
More importantly, at this week's Gameday, David Carlson will be running a SHADOWRUN ONE-SHOT. So come and play, 'cause I want to play and I can't if I'm the only player there. =P
Speaking of Carlson, that Shadowrun game we have up on the games list? Yeah. Not happening. I'd change it but I'm hungry so I'm not dealing with anything but the front page right now.

As for site updates, I put up another gamer looking for a game. Such a sad state of affairs... some kind soul, please help.
Anywho, it's a new school year and that means more breaks for gaming! As I said above, if you're interested in joining a game, or you would like to start a game, or you are already GM-ing a game, give me a shout (via email)(or in real life. But I'm more likely to remember to put it up on the website if you do it via email).
In other news, there will be an OGRE meeting at some point. Dunno when yet. I'll bug the president of vice or something...
