While You Are Away
Changing
Course Selections
Inevitably,
some students change the courses they have listed on their
preliminary transfer of credit forms.
Course changes while
away can be handled as follows:
Email the appropriate
department chairs or designee with the same information that
is on the
Preliminary Transfer of Credit form and ask them for approval.
When you receive an answer
from the department chair forward the email to Donna.Young@oberlin.edu
so that she can
put in your file and send it to the Registrar's office.
It is imperative
that you record the new selections and that the Study Away
Office receives the information either from the chair or directly
from you. Remember: Preliminary approval is not required
for elective courses taken on affiliated programs. Courses
taken that you intend to count toward major or minor requirements
must have preliminary approval. Any course taken on
a non-affiliated program must have preliminary approval.
