ROCKABILLY MUSIC!

Rockabilly bands and musicians are the vanguard of rock 'n' roll. Instead of trying to
define rockabilly or to trace its roots, I have compiled a
rockabilly bibliography, where I have listed a
selection of books about rockabilly music and musicians and also about rockabilly's
hillbilly/blues roots. Also check out the
Rockabilly Hall of Fame
Suggested Books page. My personal rockabilly collection includes music that I have
discovered through reading rockabilly histories and biographies, talking to fans at
rockabilly shows and through the many great rockabilly compilations that are available.
Joining the Rockabilly Hall of
Fame E-Mail Discussion list is another way to learn about veteran and newer
rockabillies.
- Here are some roots and rockabilly veterans that I enjoy listening to. There are also many
great obscure rockabillies that can be found on rockabilly compilations. If you want more
comprehensive listings, then check out the

Here are some rockabillies who are currently, or almost currently, playing rockabilly music and some
veterans who continued to play rockabilly music. There are so many great newer bands who are playing
rockabilly that I'm discovering more every day. Some of the catalogs listed below will give you an idea of
the newer rockabilly music that is available. Some of the other rockabilly-related links below will provide
you with additional information. Be sure to check out

will continue to add to this list as I get new CDs:
