Board of Trustees Elections
Call for Nominations
The Trustee Search Committee of the Alumni Council welcomes suggestions
for future nominations for alumni-elected trustees. Candidates
must hold an Oberlin degree and be able to complete the six-year
term before reaching the mandatory retirement age of 75. If you
wish to suggest a candidate, please send a letter of nomination,
including background information on the suggested candidate, his
or her address, and a description of the assets the candidate
would bring to the Board. Send your letter to the Executive Director
of the Alumni Association, Oberlin College, Bosworth Hall 105,
Oberlin, Ohio 44074-1089. You may also call 440-775-8692 or check ObieWeb,
the alumni web site, for more details. There is no limit to the
number of candidates you may suggest.
In addition, the Nominations Committee of the Board of Trustees is interested
in suggestions for non-alumni trustee members. Please forward names in the same
manner as above.
One class trustee is elected from each year's graduating class. All members of
the current graduating class are eligible for election, and a nominating form
is mailed to all seniors in early February.
