MEET INFORMATION

Important Deadlines

Entries are due by 11:59pm on Wednesday, February 3 Please email me your hytek file to jdhudson@gmail.com (the oberlin servicer does not accept zip files)

A list of accepted entries and a revised time schedule will be posted to http://www.oberlin.edu/runners at 7:00pm on

Thursday, February 4 .

 

How To Enter

A Hytek meet file will be emailed to you. Please email that file back with your entries by 11:59 Wednesday Frbruary 3.

 

We will attempt to accept all entries submitted by the deadline. However, meet management reserves the right to limit field sizes based upon the number

of entries submitted.

Entry Fees

The entry fee is $ per gender.

Make checks payable to Oberlin College Track and Field.

Schedule of Events

4:00pm         John W. Heisman Club Field House opens

5:30pm         Field events begin

7:30pm         Running events begin

10:45pm       Approximate end of meet (schedule will be adjusted based on number of entries)

Weights and Measures

Please advise your athletes that they must have their implements inspected one hour prior to the events start. Weights and measures will close 30 minutes

prior to the event.

Spikes

There are no spikes allowed on the infield. Athletes in the high jump MUST wear flats – spikes are not permitted in the high jump. Pyramid spikes NOT longer than 1/4" must be worn on the

track for ALL events, including the long jump,and pole vault. We will check the spike length of all contestants prior to escorting them onto the facility. 


Headphones/Radios

No headphones or radios will be permitted inside the track. These devices present a safety risk for everyone since several competitions will be contested simultaneously. Please notify your athletes in advance that they must confine these items to the areas outside of the facility.

5:30pm        Women's    Pole Vault Followed by Men's Pole Vault

5:30pm        Mens         Shot Put Followed by Womens Shot Put

                 

 

7:30pm Women followed by men in all events
