South
South Hall is the second largest hall on campus and the largest for the south end of campus at around a 230 capacity. But while being larger than most, the hall is divided in three floors, with four wings on each floor; this means each wing of about 20 students have the chance of getting to know a smaller group of students quite well while enjoying the perks of a larger living community. South Hall is directly across the street from the Center for Environmental Studies and just a minute or two from the Conservatory.
The largest lounge on campus is located on its first floor and comes equipped with pool and ping-pong tables, TV and study areas and a piano. Students commonly gather in this area to participate in a variety of activities and the two large kitchen-lounges on the second floor allow culinary pursuits.
The first floor is houses one all-female wing, one all-gender wing and two all-male wings; the second floor is entirely female; and on the third floor is co-ed with one all-male wing. Upon receiving roommate requests, students of any gender can live together in the same room on the all-gender wing on the first floor.
