Accommodation Request Information

Oberlin College is a residential college that prides itself in offering a distinct housing and dining program that incorporates academic and personal growth opportunities. These programs are vital to the mission of the College and provide the student population many occasions to socialize and exchange ideas with a diverse group of people.

According to College policy, all students are required to participate in the housing and dining program through graduation.

The Department of Residential Education and Dining Services understands that some students may have medical conditions that require special housing and/or dining accommodations. Students with physical or medical conditions and/or disability can usually be accommodated in college housing and dining. Residential Education and Dining Service personnel will try to accommodate your prescribed housing and dining needs, but cannot always accommodate your preferences. Please note that the accommodation committee will determine whether the college will consider the request as temporary or as necessary for the remaining time of your college career.

For more information on accomodation requests, make an appointment with Molly Tyson, the Associate Dean and Director of Residential Education.
