Job Description: The Resource Conservation Team works closely with the Oberlin College Departments of Environmental Health and Safety, Environmental Studies, Buildings and Grounds, Custodial Services, Administration, Environmental Policy Standing Committee, Oberlin Student Cooperative Association, Student Senate, and the City of Oberlin recycling program to decrease Oberlin College's environmental impact. The RCT has also been involved in organizing events such as Earth Day activities, making free notebooks from reused paper, running the annual waste audit, and tabling in Wilder; many more possibilities exist!
Qualifications: Students looking to apply should be highly motivated, creative, responsible, and willing to work with students, staff and College faculty professionally on a daily basis.
Time Commitment: 6-10 hrs/week
Wage: $7.30/hr with opportunities for increases
