  Policies

PROPER ATTIRE
Proper attire will be expected at all times when using the facilities. Outside of the pool, shoes and shirts must be worn at all times. No bare feet or cleats are permitted in the building.

GENERAL BUILDING RULES

2.   Proper footware must either be worn or carried and changed into.
3.   All personal items should be stored securely in lockers in the locker rooms.
4.   Proper shoes are required at all times. NO RUNNING/OR BLACK-SOLED SHOES will be permitted on any court or playing surface other than the track.
5.   Food, beverages and gum are allowed ONLY in the lobbies, lounge, offices and hallways. Please use the trash receptacles.
6.   No spitting on the floors or walls.
7.   Proper attire is required at all times.
8.   Bikes, inline skates, skateboards and pets are not allowed in the buildings.
9.   ALL TOBACCO PRODUCTS are prohibited.
10.   Only personal headsets are allowed in the building.
11.   Please report any injury or unsafe condition to a monitor or supervisor.
12.   The Recreation Center reserves the right to refuse admission and suspend privileges based on inappropriate behavior or for violation of the Recreation Center guidelines.

Weight Room
Weight room monitors are on duty to enforce all rules and prevent misuse of the equipment. Monitors are NOT instructors, and are not authorized to give instruction on the equipment.

Use of weights and/or exercise machines is at the Member’s own risk. Due to potential safety and liability risks, no children under the age of 14 may use any of the exercise equipment.

Facility Reservation
Reservations are recommended for the use of racquetball, squash and table tennis courts.
1. graphic: spacer Reservations will be taken 24 hours in advance, and may be made by phone at 775-8513 or in person.
2.   Reservations are for one hour at a time. Limit of two non-consecutive hours of play per day.
3.   If a court is not reserved it will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
4.   Please present your ID and sign in at the Equipment Room to claim a reserved court.
5.   The Recreation Center reserves the right to cancel reservations for special events.
6.   Any reservations not claimed within ten minutes of the reservation time will be forfeited to the next first-come, first-serve person.
7.   Please call 775-8513 to cancel reservations that you do not plan to use. Failure to do so may lead to loss of reservation privileges.

Lost and Found
Lost and Found items will be kept at the Equipment Room. Keys will be turned over to Campus Safety and Security the next day.
