TELEPHONE CONFERENCE BRIDGES
Oberlin now has its own conference bridge which has been administered by the Telephone Office for over a year; however, it appears as though some are not aware of its availability. The bridge is intended for Oberlin College business related calls only. All conference calls are required to go through the Telephone Office bridge. Significant savings on the order of 75%+ are achieved using our own bridge. As a result the accessing of commercial Conference Bridges should be stopped.
If you wish to use the college bridge, the form for requesting a bridge setup can be located at http://www.oberlin.edu/purchase/telephone/Default.html. Just complete this form and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have questions regarding the setup of a conference call, contact Chet Arcaba or Bridget Sanchez in the Telephone Office at 58121 or 58178.
offices of the Purchasing and Auxiliary Services Department are located
on the second floor of the Service Building. The Department is staffed
by a Director, an Institutional Buyer, an Auxiliary Services Coordinator,
and two Administrative Assistants. Normal office hours are Monday
through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Other Purchasing and Auxiliary Services functions located on Campus
are the Telephone Office, and Printing Services all in
the Service Building and the Student Mailroom located in Wilder Hall.
Oberlin Colleges Purchasing Department is part of the Finance
Division and reports to the Associate Vice President of Finance.
