Leading a search for a new president is the most important work of the Oberlin College Board of Trustees this year. As was the case in the past two presidential searches at Oberlin, in 1982 and 1993, the Board has established a Presidential Search Committee of 11 members. Six members have been drawn from the Board of Trustees, one from the College faculty, one from the Conservatory faculty, one from the Administrative and Professional Staff, one from the student body, and one from the Alumni Council.
