CARNEGIE ENDOWMENT FOR INTERNATIONAL PEACE
Juniors Fellows Program
The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, one of the world’s leading think tanks specializing in international affairs, conducts a program of research discussion, publication and education in international relations and U.S. foreign policy. The Junior Fellows Program is designed to provide a substantive work experience for students who have a serious career interest in the area of international affairs. The Carnegie Endowment annually holds a rigorous national competition to select approximately 8-10 graduating seniors to serve as Junior Research Fellows. Candidates must be graduating seniors or students who graduated during the last academic year and be nominated by their College or University. No one who has started graduate studies is eligible. Oberlin can nominate two candidates. Application for Oberlin’s nomination is due on Friday, November 7th to Professor Ben Schiff, Rice 213. Candidates whose written applications succeed will be invited to Carnegie for interviews in the spring, with final decisions made by April 15, 2009.
