HEAT PROPAGATION IN A ROD

APPARATUS
aluminum or copper rod 202-11-B
four steel balls 202-11-C
"tackiwax" 202-02-B
butane burner 202-11-B
striker 202-11-B

DESCRIPTION
Balls are stuck to rod by small amounts of wax.  Heat one end of rod with butane burner and balls fall off sequentially as wax melts.
Use the infrared camera to show the temperature change along the rod.  Set the camera's temperature range anticipating that the rod will get hot.
