APPARATUS
plexiglas cube

plexiglas rectangular
parallelopiped
202-15-D
rod
202-15-D
DESCRIPTION
Hold ends of rod to detect presence
or absence
of wobble when spinning cube and parallelopiped about it. Every
axis
through center of mass of uniform cube is a principal axis of inertia,
but not so for noncubic rectangular parallelopiped.
NOTES
There is also a plexiglas block with
a pencil
through it (202-15-D). This axis does not pass through the center
of mass of the block.
