DESCRIPTION

The function generator is set to sweep through the resonance frequency of the circuit (650 Hz).  The scope displays the voltage across the resistor.  Increase the resistance to show the broadening of the peak.

NOTES

Set the function generator to sweep from ~10 to 1000 Hz with a 90:10 ramp.  Set the sweep rate of the scope so the rising part of the ramp takes the entire screen (10 divs) and the peak can be seen about 6.5 divisions in.  Display the applied voltage and the voltage across the resistor on Ch1 and Ch2.
