APPARATUS

Show that the human heart produces a potential difference, detectable at the skin. 

Attach electrodes to the volunteer's right wrist, inside right elbow, and inside left elbow.  Connect the black (reference) clip to the wrist electrode, green (-) clip to the right elbow electrode, and red (+) clip to the left elbow electrode.  Subject should be seated to minimize signals from other muscles.
