OSTF encourages teachers and students to engage with the plays from our season before, during, and after we bring them to life onstage. We welcomes classes and school groups of all sizes - please contact us to reserve group tickets for any of our performaces.
This summer the Oberlin Summer Theater Festival introduces the Acting Shakespeare Intensive, formerly known as the Shakespeare Day Camp, for area high school students, grades 9 - 12. The camp will run from July 29th through August 2nd.
Camp activities will focus on performance skills, including Basics of Truthful Acting, Handling Shakespearean Text, Voice, Movement, and Combat all culminating in Scene Study from the world of "A Midsummer Night's Dream". Supervising the camp will be members of the OSTF cast and Visiting Assistant Professor of Theater at Oberlin College, Heather Anderson Boll, an accomplished Equity actress.
There is an $95 fee to enroll in the camp. Need-based scholarships are available for those who qualify.
