Does my vote really count?

As Ohio goes, so goes the nation...

Ohio has voted for the winner of every presidential election, with only one exception, since World War II.  That's 12 out of the last 13 elections...  That's why Ohio is often referred to as a bellwether state.  Ohio is also an important swing state  in its number of electoral votes and its even partisan split of its voters.

So...

If you are already registered to vote in Ohio, vote!  And remind others, too.  It's a great chance to have your vote wield substantial influence in a Presidential election.

But...
If you missed Ohio's registration deadline and are registered at home or were already planning on voting in your home state be sure to request your absentee ballot.
