Between September 2nd, 2003 and December 15th 2003 there were 2,218,036 requests for pages found in those 238 courses. The most active day was September 4th, 2003 with 42,655 hits. During this semester there were 6873 hits/day (average). It is important to remember that this period includes fall break when barely any hits are recorded.

There are 229 active courses this semester. This is an increase of 20% from last semester and 50% from last year. There are 3550 users in the system (3368 students/ 301 Instructors). Since Feb. 1, 2003 there have been 719,230 requests for pages found in those 229 courses. The heaviest use was evident on Feb. 5, 2003 when there were 31,735 pages accessed. For those that like graphs, the graph below represents the number of times pages in Blackboard were accessed per day in the month of March. Notice the scalloped pattern. Low points are on Saturday.
