Astronomy 100 Observatory Lab Sessions
September 2007 Class Observing:
Wednesday evening, September 12th, 9:00-midnight at North Fields. Meet at the south closed gate under the stadium and dress warmly with good shoes; the grass will be wet.Thursday evening, September 13th, 9:00-midnight at Peters Observatory.
Both sessions will depend on CLEAR SKIES. Please look up at the sky; if it's cloudy we won't be at North Fields or Peters.
Please come to observing labs as early in the semester as possible. The chart below should give you some incentive for that. November only has an average of 3 to 4 clear evenings, and those always fall on Thanksgiving break or on the night before the second exam. December averages 2 clear nights, and those are after the semester ends.
