| Seven Ph.D neuroscientists teach and do research in neuroscience. All faculty are actively engaged in research that incorporates students. The research of the majority of faculty is supported by grants from the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health. Currently the different scientists in the Program are conducting research that examines the biology of learning, the neuroendocrine control of reproductive behavior, the neurophysiology of hypothylamic-pituitary interactions, the evolution of the vertebrate forebrain, the neuroanatomy of the lateral line and auditory systems, and the molecular biology of the developing brain. |
