My interest is neurobiology, an interest that began when I was a graduate student at UCLA and joined W. Adey's  lab at the UCLA Brain Research Institute.
Before coming to Oberlin I worked as a research associate in the Pharmacology Department at the University of Ottawa, Canada. 

At Oberlin I assist with laboratory instruction and provide technical support. 

My other interests include ecological and environmental issues. 
My husband Roderic Knight teaches Ethnomusicology at Oberlin College.  Our daughter Jennifer teaches in the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology, University of Colorado at Boulder.
