The Networking, Operations, and Systems (NOS) group within CIT develops and maintains and enhances the campus networking capabilities; administers and maintains the main campus servers and backup systems; and performs computer operations/production work, including the data-entry of employee timecards.

NOS is mainly a behind-the-scenes group. Much of their effort is spent in reviewing and enhancing performance of the network and the servers. This group also does the daily administrative tasks of performing system backups and creating and managing computer accounts.
