Wendy Kozol is an associate professor and director of the Gender and Women's Studies Program at Oberlin College. Her new project, Looking Like an American, examines the United States government's reliance in the late 20th century on visual media, including documentary film, photography, and video, to represent histories of social dislocation and disruption within the nation.
