The Construction of the Adam J. Lewis Center for Environmental Studies,
April 27, 1999

Photographs by Holly Matyas
Text by Linda Grashoff based on information from Leo Evans

On the second floor, the future office of the Environmental Studies Program administrative assistant has a view (for now) of the corridor and the classrooms. Next week stud work will begin to define the separate rooms in this space.

Standing in the future kitchen on the first floor, a person can look through the corridor and into the classrooms.

From the balcony of Harkness Residence Hall, the center looks as if some of the glazing is completed, but the window openings are only covered with plastic so that interior work can proceed without the interference of rain.
