The Construction of the Adam J. Lewis Center for Environmental Studies,
April 27, 1999

Photographs by Holly Matyas
Text by Linda Grashoff based on information from Leo Evans

Here's how the living machine looks now from the north-entry vestibule.

Looking through a window opening from the roof over the north entry lets Holly Matyas see the auditorium mechanical room. The round window in the background belongs to Baldwin Cottage.

Looking out of the auditorium mechanical room Matyas caught the cement-truck driver hosing out the cement chute. He had just delivered concrete for a footer for the east access door from the auditorium and for the wall of the first floor raised-floor area.
